Terms of Service

Routes is an app of E-Splice LLC (“E-Splice”, “we”, “us”), the company behind Dragy Moto Lab and Chainline. These terms are an agreement between you and E-Splice for the website at dragymotoroutes.e-splice.com, the web app at /app/ and the Routes iPhone and Android apps. Your Dragy Moto Lab account and any Pro membership are also covered by the Dragy Moto Lab Terms of Service and Subscription Terms.
1. Who can use Routes
You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Community (forums, chats, group rides and events) is only for people 18 and older.
2. The service
Routes helps you plan routes, navigate, record rides, discover roads and ride with others. It works without an account. Some features need a Dragy Moto Lab account, and some need an active Pro membership from Dragy Moto Lab. We may change, add or remove features.
3. Ride safely; routes and data are estimates
You are responsible for how you ride. Set your route before you ride, don’t handle your phone while riding, and follow traffic laws and road signs.
Routes, turn instructions, travel times, map data, places, weather, lean angle, g-forces and speeds are estimates from outside services and phone sensors. They can be wrong or out of date. A suggested road may be closed, unpaved, unsafe, private, seasonal or not legal for your vehicle. Check conditions yourself. Off-road routes follow tracks on the map and aren’t a rating of whether a track is passable or open.
4. Crash detection, SOS and location sharing
Crash detection can fail to detect a crash or alert when there was no crash. SOS alerts depend on your phone, battery, signal, settings and outside services, and may be late or not arrive. Routes is not an emergency service and doesn’t contact 911 or other emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
If you share your location in a group ride, the riders in that ride can see it while sharing is on. Only share with people you trust.
5. Accounts and Pro
Your Dragy Moto Lab account and Pro membership (prices, trials, renewals, cancellation and refunds) are governed by the Dragy Moto Lab terms. Routes doesn’t sell anything itself. Keep your password safe; you’re responsible for activity on your account.
6. Community rules
Be respectful. Don’t post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent or threatening, spam, other people’s private information, or content you don’t have the rights to. Don’t encourage street racing or riding that puts people in danger. Moderators may remove content and time out, suspend or ban accounts. You can report content and block people in the app. Appeals: support@e-splice.com.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the rides, routes, posts and messages you create. You give us a license to store, process and show your content as needed to run the features you use (for example, showing a post to Community members or a shared route to the people you share it with). You confirm you have the right to share what you post.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no interfering with it, reverse engineering it beyond what the law allows, scraping it, bulk-downloading map tiles, getting around limits or Pro checks, or using it to break the law.
9. Third-party services
Routes uses outside services for maps, routing, search, imagery and weather (for example Stadia Maps, OpenStreetMap data, Protomaps and Open-Meteo). Their terms and attributions apply to their data. Links to other sites are for convenience.
10. Disclaimers
Routes is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, E-Splice isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for injury, loss or damage that comes from riding, from route or map errors, or from a missed or delayed SOS. Our total liability for any claim relating to Routes is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You agree to cover E-Splice for claims that come from your content, your misuse of Routes or your breaking these terms.
13. Ending the service
You can stop using Routes and delete your account at any time (see Delete account). We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect riders or the service.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mississippi, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the effective date and, for important changes, tell you in the app or on this site. If you keep using Routes after a change, the new terms apply.
