The app
What is Routes?
A motorcycle route app from E-Splice LLC, the company behind Dragy Moto Lab: plan direct, twisty or off-road routes, follow them turn by turn, record rides, discover roads and ride with your group.
Is it free?
Yes. Routes is free with no account needed. Routes Pro (unlimited saves, twisty tuning, GPX import as a plan, offline maps and cloud backup) comes with a Dragy Moto Lab Pro membership.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
They’re coming to the App Store and Google Play. Today it runs in your phone’s browser. Use Add to Home Screen and it opens full screen like an app.
How does Twisty pick a road?
It asks a motorcycle router to avoid motorways, freeways and tolls and favour curvy roads, then keeps the curviest option that isn’t a long detour. Pro adds sliders to tune it.
Does it work offline?
Recording keeps going without signal and the ride is saved on your phone. Pro can save map areas for offline use (Street style). Planning a route and search need a connection.
Which areas are covered?
Routing and place search work worldwide. Our own map tiles and the US imagery fallback cover the continental US for now.
How accurate is it?
Phone GPS is a guide, not a survey. Lean and g-force from a phone are estimates, and a connected GPS device is more accurate. Times and distances are estimates.
Will it drain my battery?
GPS and a bright screen use power. On long rides, use a mount with charging.
Accounts and Pro
Do I need an account?
No. Without one, your rides, plans, garage and settings stay on your device. Sign in with a Dragy Moto Lab account to sync your garage, back up rides (Pro) and use Community.
I already have a Dragy Moto Lab account. Do I need a new one?
No. Use the same email and password. It’s one account for Routes, Dragy Moto Lab and Chainline.
How do I get Pro?
Get Dragy Moto Lab Pro on the Lab pricing page or in the Lab app, then sign in to Routes with the same account.
How do I cancel?
Cancel where you subscribed: Dragy Moto Lab › My Account › Subscriptions, Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
Safety, Community and SOS
Can I use it while riding?
Set your route before you ride and use a proper mount. Spoken cues and the big turn banner are there so you can keep your eyes on the road. Follow local laws.
Who can see my location in a group ride?
Only the riders in that group ride, only while it’s on, and only if you turn sharing on. Ride locations are deleted 24 hours after the ride ends.
Does crash detection call 911?
No. It alerts your group and your emergency contacts with your location. It can miss a crash or go off by mistake, so it doesn’t replace emergency services.
Who can join Community?
Riders 18 and older with a Dragy Moto Lab account. It’s moderated, and you can report or block anyone.
Data and privacy
Where is my data stored?
On your device unless you sign in. Synced garage, ride backups and Community content are stored with your account. See the Privacy Policy.
Do you track me or show ads?
No ads, no analytics and no tracking code in the app. We don’t sell personal data.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Account › Delete your account in the app. Or see Delete account.
